Maths

In maths we will be improving speed and recall of our times tables as well as learning new ones. We will do this using a series of activities, games, songs and movements. Ask your child to teach you their times tables, help them to practise. We will be developing written methods, using the grid method and looking at if we know 6 x 4 = 24 what else do we know? For example using this fact we know other multiplication and division facts. We could also extend this to 6 x 40 = 240 etc.
We will be continuing to improve our learning around fractions, addition, subtraction and measures.
